2019-20 NCAA Football (Week 8)

Games I saw some of:
(In and out of a few games but didn't dig in too deep in anything. There were a few good games this weekend but they managed to miss me. Oh well, it was a good week to clean my kitchen)

Top 25
Handled their business:
(1) Alabama, (2) Louisiana State, (3) Clemson, (4) Ohio State, (5) Oklahoma, (7) Penn State, (9) Florida, (10) Georgia, (11) Auburn, (12) Oregon, (13) Utah, (18) Baylor, (19) Southern Methodist, (20) Minnesota, (21) Cincinnati, (23) Iowa, (24) Appalachian State

Won but did not impress
(15) Texas. Jeez, you gave up 48 to Kansas? At home? WTF, dude?

Bad beat
(16) Michigan. They're pretty good but not that good. Nittany Lions seemed to control this game pretty early.
(17) Arizona State. The Michigan of the PAC: good rugged defense, but not enough offense to hang with the better teams.

Not so good
(6) Wisconsin. Oh, Wisconsin, how could you let this happen? When you're looking ahead to Ohio State, you forget to see the team in front of you. The game was still winnable right to the end, too. *smh*
(14) Boise State. Tough L on the road at BYU but if they were gonna rise up this year, they would've handled this game.
(22) Missouri. L to Vandy disqualifies anyone from being ranked. (Pssst...Missouri was never a top 25 team)

Next week's interesting matchups:
(13) Wisconsin @ (3) Ohio State (well, Illinois made this match a lot less sexy, especially since I thought the Buckeyes were gonna maul 'em anyway, but still an important game)
(9) Auburn @ (2) Louisiana State (okay, this'll be fun)
(8) Notre Dame @ (19) Michigan (tough run for the Wolverines, think the Irish got this)
