Wizards picked up 4th year extension on Kelly Oubre.
Lakers picked up 4th year extensions on Brandon Ingram and Larry Nance Jr.
Bulls picked up 4th year extensions on Bobby Portis, Cameron Payne, Denzel Valentine, Jerian Grant and Kris Dunn.
Hornets picked up 4th year extension on Frank Kaminsky.
(Notably the Sixers did not pick up the extension for Jahlil Okafor)
Rockets signed Isiah Canaan for the rest of the season....and waived him 3 days later (I'm sure there is some roster machination that needed to be done there but I don't get these moves and the Rockets, in particular, make them all the time)
Pelicans signed Josh Smith for the rest of the season (I know the Pelicans need all the 3 point shooting they can get but I'm not sure they not it this bad; but high school roomies and apparent BFF's Rajon Rondo and Smith are finally together in the NBA)
Injuries
Markelle Fultz (Sixers) injured his shoulder and is out indefinitely (presumably while the Sixers figure out how to use him)
